Dr. Jennie Ng earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry/Biophysics and Economics from Northwestern University in 1996 and her medical degree from The Chicago Medical School in 2001. She finished her internship and residency in Internal Medicine in 2004 at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago where she then completed a Gastroenterology fellowship in 2007. During her fellowship, she received the award for her research interest in colorectal cancer at the 8th Annual Digestive and Liver Diseases Research Competition.
Dr. Ng was voted Clinical Fellow of the Year in 2006 by the Department of Medicine Housestaff and also served as chief gastroenterology fellow her final year.Dr. Ng is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology with advance therapeutic endoscopic training. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterolical Association.
